Deanna, a lifelong health enthusiast, began her wellness journey in 2009, earning a nutrition degree from Queens College. Disenchanted with the western approach to healthy eating, she carved her unique path, viewing food as medicine. Pursuing holistic nutrition certification and yoga teacher training at Kripalu, she saw the intrinsic connection between nutrition, movement, and speech. In 2021, she stumbled upon Floating Mountain Tea House, discovering her daily tea ritual transcends a mere beverage—it serves as both medicine and meditation, guiding a transformative journey back to oneself. Tea, Deanna realized, has the power to meet us where we are, fostering profound connections with others, nature, and, above all, our true selves. As a mother of twins who lives in Hoboken, she honors life in a slower, more deliberate way of living.
